So, I was supposed to go out with a work friend tonight. Like strictly just to have fun and keep my mind off of things. Earlier in the day, I went out to Long Island to help my folks, aunt and uncle clean out my grandmother's house.
Apparently, my aunt was upset that I would not be spending the night because 1) I have to work at 6am and 2) I had plans. My mother tells my aunt as she's bitching about me not staying that I had a "date." Never mind that the date was with a lesbian coworker and her girlfriend, but my aunt assumed and said "I guess she's not that heartbroken after all"
i was in the next room, overheard and went to charge in and said "excuse me?" My dad blocked my way, which I guess was better off in the long run. The coward bitch of an aunt of mine left without saying anything else.
now, she calls 5 times and I ignore her. She calls my dads phone and they get in a very heated argument, and I can only figure she said something horrible about me because my dad wouldn't repeat it, but he did flip his shit.
He hangs up, she calls 4 times more and leaves a pathetic pleading voicemail about how she's sorry she judged me, etc.
however, earlier in the day while we were cleaning my grandmothers room. She told me how Stbxh was always a jerk, she knew he was a mistake from the start and she told me so. No apology for that
So, with my emotions already raw, my aunt poured a pound of salt in my wounds.

Screw her and anyone else who isn't supportive of you.
After a bad break up I came across a quote and I have no idea who wrote it but it was something along the lines that the when you feel like everything is taken away from you the amazing part is you get a chance to see what or who is left.
I'm not normally the quote type but I love that one. It got me through some dark times.
