I went to the doctor yesterday, and he had a little ultrasound machine so we got to see the baby which was AWESOME. It was my first visit to the OB, and I really liked him and I'm happy that I will be seeing him.
However he said my placenta was low so no intercourse until the next appointment in about a month. I'm really disappointed because our anniversary is next week. H is nothing but supportive of course, but I have guilt.
My Sunday random is a PSA! Loft, Banana, and Gap are all 40% off everything right now. I was maybe going to buy a pair of maternity jeans, but I can't find any in my size that I like. I'm also a little annoyed bc I bought some stuff from Loft last weekend and now, of course, it's on super sale and they won't do a pro adjustment. Makes me feel a little ragey - this is one reason why I hate shopping!
I have hardly any Internet connection. The signal sucks, but I just wanted to say never go camping when you are newly pregnant, especially on a sheep farm. The toilet is a 5 minute walk away, I am suffering with constant nausea, except when I have heart burn. Not my favourite trip.
Napping sounds pretty good right now. I don't know what's with me today, I am so antsy and bored. Nothing sounds appealing right now; I'd like to get out of the house, but it's hot out, I don't want to spend a lot of money, no movies I want to see. Tv is boring, I'm not in the middle of a good book. I'm borrrrrrred, ok? Normally I love lazy Sunday, what gives?!?!?
I went to Pea in the Pod (got to use the expectant mom parking for the first time!) I scored two tops and jeans for $30 (I had a $50 gc). Then I had my first maternity massage and it was glorious!
My dogs woke me up at 5:30 so I've already taken one nap today. Thankfully H understands that I'm always exhausted. He's done like 4 loads of laundry today Its just another lazy Sunday for me. I can not wait to start feeling like myself again!

Nap was successful. Kittens were pleased I spooned them. Now I am eating yummy tomato salad with tomatoes, white wonder cucumber, and basil all from the garden. I even showered! Am looking up recipes to freeze. Going to try and do that this week. I want to go to see that Forrest Whittaker movie...but I hate being around everyone in the theater...people are noisy and annoying. I like the vintage theater we go see black and whites at better. We are typically the youngest people there by 25+ years lol
I have bruises all over my legs from middle of the night bathroom trips. Since we just moved and I am not used to the layout, so I spent some time swapping mine and DHs side today. I am getting the straight shot to the bathroom with no obstacles from now on.

This whole weekend has been pretty awesome...
Yesterday I did absolutely nothing all morning, took a three hour nap, cleaned the house with DH's help, got groceries, and was in bed again by 10.
Today I got up and went to pick some veggies from my grandpa's garden. They always let us pick what we need, they grow too much. Then I used all that as ingredients for freezer meals. I now have a big lasagna, BBQ chicken ready for the crock pot, Italian meatballs, and two turkey veggie meatloaves hanging out, waiting for BabySparrow to get here.
Then I went through some clothes, took another three hour nap with DH and the pets, and now I'm thinking about baking some cupcakes. Because I want chocolate.
But let me tell you, I was wiped after those freezer meals. I probably should have started them a couple weeks ago. Whew.
And it's gorgeous here today! So sunny, and not too hot. Perfection.
Yesterday, the Orange is the New Black FB page put up a recipe for the coconut cake mentioned in the show. So, what did I do? Why, i wrote down the ingredients, bought them at the store, and made an entire cake for no good reason. I made it somewhat late last night, so I didn't wait to frost it (so it's not pretty). I ate two pieces last night and two more today. It is amazing.
