I do not regret giving my husband the silent treatment for two days. It was childish, but the conversation we had last night was the best, most productive conversation we have had in years. I don't think it would have happened without the silent treatment.
I do not regret the large tub (seriously large tub) of local bbq joint ranch dressing currently sitting in my fridge.
One of the little girls in the neighborhood spent all day yesterday and today hanging out at our house. I had a lot of stuff to get done this weekend, but am so glad I got to hang out with her (she's 7). She doesn't have a strong mother figure, so she helped me pick tomatoes, snap green beans, and cook dinner tonight. We had a lot of fun, and I don't regret that my "To Do" list hasn't been touched.

My dining room furniture/buffet. Tonight I filled it up with all my china, crystal, and serving pieces I received nearly NINE EFFING YEARS ago, and I'm almost giddy just looking at it. I also don't regret my china pattern, or registering for both formal and everyday china because I love them both, and was reminded how much i still love my formal stuff tonight.
I also don't regret bailing on my cousin's FI's bachelorette party. Her shower was painfully boring and unorganized, and I had zero interest subjecting myself to that any more than I had to.
I don't regret eating this Lindt Touch of Sea Salt chocolate bar
My favorite current chocolate bar is dark chocolate with almonds and sea salt. It's the perfect amount of each. I have to limit myself so I don't gain 50 lbs.

The pan of brownies I made on Wednesday night after DH left. Best idea ever. Perhaps I wish I'd been more of a glutton so they'd be finished without any evidence for when he returns. I can't finish the remaining half a pan tonight so it's too late for regrets.
Since I've been a clueless idiot and missed when this happened, I just want to say: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL, thanks! We got married July 11th. Didn't want to plan a wedding so we had a literally 30-second-long ceremony in front of a local lighthouse, performed by his mom who happens to be a notary. Took a dozen or so pictures and then went out to lunch. It was perfect.
We're having a backyard bonfire party at our house next month as our official celebration.

I've already decided Im taking tomorrow off and haven't decided about Tuesday. I hate using my vacation/personal time but I'm still not feeling good enough to go back to work. I don't want to push it and end up in the hospital and miss J's last 2 weeks of summer and the start of Kindergarten.
Dinner last night of four cheese pizza (ricotta, whole milk mozzarella, gorgonzola and parmesean) + dessert of B & J's peanut butter cup ice cream and two kir royales.
