I'm trying to figure out how to adjust this "security" setting but I can't figure out how. I'm travelling internationally at the moment and every time I go to a new city I can't access gmail from my iPad. I get a message that the password is incorrect and then Google sends me an email stating that they blocked suspicious malicious activity. No it's not malicious, it's me and I want my email. I then have to go to their web site and enter my passwords and say that yes this is me. After this the app works. This is so very frustrating and a total FWP I know. It does not appear to be a setting that I can find to say - hey don't block my access it's me and I'm travelling.
This happens to me all the time. The worst is in Nigeria--all of my accounts end up super locked down. I actually locked myself out of Facebook because they wanted me to recognize ten friends by their profile pics and then showed me 8 random baby photos that my jet lagged brain couldn't place.
I'm sorry, this probably shouldn't but it made me laugh I hate that FB does that!
