Just blah. Menstrual. I'm a little sad that we had to break up with our daycare. She's not renewing her license. Boo. We found someone else who we think will be a great fit that my DD seems to really like, I'm just sad about switching.

We had to do this a few months ago and it was hard. I became a SAHM. My DS loved the place and all of his friends. I cried on his last day and still get weepy when I think about it. It's been about 3 months and he still names his classmates. It's not easy : (

Aww. My dd is only 10 months so she probably won't remember her daycare friends. I was actually surprised when we visited the new one last Friday how easily DD went to the new woman and played with her girls. She's in a stage where she usually won't go to strangers, but she seemed totally fine with her. I guess some people are just that good with kids! I think I'll have a harder time with it than she will. Haha.

I cried when DS left the daycare he was at before he went to my SIL's for my work days. (It was a university childcare center, so I didn't qualify for preferred position anymore after graduation.) It's harder than people would imagine.
I'm doing pretty good, except my left knee is killing me. I'm hoping that means the weather is going to get colder or we're going to get some rain. (I had surgery in that knee so I always feel it.)

That's great that she meshed well with them! My DS couldn't care less about leaving his daycare. I was the one with the issues. It was like a chapter closing in his little life. Plus, we tried to be active at the center and went to the parties, open houses and my H would go in and read. We loved that DS (and us) was part of something. He is just happy to be home with mommy (and his brother).
