We are skipping the crib bedding set this time around. We never used the quilt for DS so I can't justify it now. I'm just doing sheets (obvi!) and a mesh bumper.
My splurge was $150 gray and white chevron blackout curtains from PBK. Definitely took some serious combining for DH but he finally caved. Worth every penny to me!!

I don't recall if I already said this; We aren't planning on having a bumper since it's completely useless. I am getting one of the breathable mesh one.
Now the next thing to pick out: a pack n play. ugh. I have a list of big ticket items to pick out still - Makes my brain hurt.
Late to the party, but I had to say I love that quilt SO much. I've been considering it, even if it only ever hangs on the glider. I can totally understand why you'd want to waste the money.

We have one that has a bassinet type deal and a changer for the first few months. They are removable. Then, the pack n play transitions to a playpen ("bed" part lowers) as baby gets bigger. I thought all pack n plays transitioned with the growth of baby, but my friends' does not. Some thing to consider!
Link to ours below...I love it except the little hood part that goes over the bassinet was cheapy and wouldn't stay on. I tossed it because I won't need it for my purposes anyways. But the rest of it feels good; the actual pack n play itself is very sturdy and easy to set up!

winecheery That is the one I'm considering. Is it easy to take down and move around? P will be coming to work with me some days; I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with her yet; but taking the PNP might be an option.

To me it was! My mom and I built it, and practiced collapsing it; no issues. Comes with a travel bag. The PnP has rubbery wheels on one end, so you can pull it wherever.
I will tell you their directions for building the other two pieces SUCKED BALLS lol We figured it out ok, the drawings sucked tho, and we were mocking them by the end. But we survived
