nicbreeful you have a beautiful Sims family. I love the Sims and just wish that I had the time to play these days. Such a time suck and I don't love 3 as much as 2.

It makes me a little sad that I remember so much about your Sims family!
I told DH I want a new laptop and he rolled his eyes so hard because he knew it would be specifically to play Sims.
Sadly, not going to happen anytime soon since we're saving money for Disneyland and also for my trip to NYC. Looking toward to having a GTG nicbreeful and vicky!
nicbreeful-my simming could never compare to yours! How the heck do you get them trick or treat? Every time spooky day arrives I try and can't ever figure it out.

No, I love it! It makes me feel a little less like a crazy person, lol!
And you know.. Christmas *is* coming up..
We're going to have a ton of fun though, I promise!
Yay!!!
I was thinking, nah, I don't want to spend the money...I'll just go to Buffalo.
And then...seriously, when is the next time I'm going to be close(ish) to NYC? Why would miss out on this GTG opportunity. Silly me.
ALSO, my dad owes me big for something, I'm going to ask him to pick up up on the way back to WA. (devil)
Sorry I'm late. I didn't see the bat signal because Alexandra is taking a full course load and I'm trying to get my (real) baby to sleep so she can finish her degree. This takes forever man!
Yayyy seasons! I've been at the university for.ev.er. so I haven't fully experienced all the season stuff.
I didnt know what I was doing lol. I like it but I wish it didn't take so long. I have a boyfriend, his name is Scot. I think we're going to get married. I'll post pictures of the wedding. I normally do destination weddings but this Sim has a lot of friends...maybe I could have a wedding in France and then have a princess day when they get back.
I don't know who saw my post in the fandom's thread but I called off work, played Sims and watched Harry Potter 1-3 today. It was GLORIOUS. Sim finally graduates, her boyfriend arrives "tomorrow" but I'm tired.
I have shitty time management skills. My Sims don't have time for anything.
I was just thinking the same thing. I make them go to work, clean, eat, shower, go to the bathroom, and repeat. That is all I seem to have time for lol
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"

How do you find the time?? lol I feel like all my sim gets to do is eat, poo, work, shower, brush teeth, and clean lol
Hm.. do you use Lifetime Rewards Points? I generally do the basic Rewards Points (speedy cleaner, never dull, slacker, etc). Seasons also helps because that gives Festival Days where everyone is excused from work and school for a day. Plus, doing university means my sims start off at a higher job level (with lots of skills), so they hit the top of the career sooner, which generally means they only work 3 or so days a week.
It also helps that I use Nraas's mods (how he hasn't been hired by EA, I'll never know). I've used the Story Progression and Overwatch mod since Late Night was released. It helps. I don't use the Relativity mod though (which controls time and makes it more realistic), though lots of simmers do.
I have never used the Lifetime Rewards points. I think I'm going to have to check them out.

Whhhhaaaat? Omg that's crazy. I usually get the fast learner one and then any that pertain to the career path. I have a politician and she has the one where friends need less maintenance and then I'll get the legendary host one to help with the fundraising parties. They are ESSENTIAL to successful simming!

LOL in my defense, I haven't actually played Sims in a very long time. My kids play it and sometimes I'll get the itch but it's hard to find time. Last night I downloaded Seasons and played for a couple hours but just the basic marry a mate, find a job, decorate your house kind of play. We have a free weekend this weekend and it's on.

Aw, thank you! For me it took a few months before I preferred 3 over 2. Especially because with 3's open neighborhood, it made it near impossible to do the whole medieval thing, which I used to love.. I had tons and tons of medieval content for 2. But now I don't think I could go back. I've gotten much too used to the open neighborhoods and all the new stuff.
Psst. Did you buy Dragon Valley yet? I'm thinking you need it...
I have Ambitions, and loving it so far. I started with firefighter, but that one was kind of boring. Then I did architect, since DH is one. He jokes that its more like interior decorating. Twice I've expanded a room and forgot to add a roof... oops =0)
DH is going to do the investigator. He made a black and white guy, and made everything in the house black and white to look like the old detective movies. He started the guy in law enforcement, then is going to have him get "fed up" with the system and move on to the private eye. I should make him take screenshots next time he gets on.
ETA: my architect gal is about to land an unemployed rich guy. My plan for him is to make him a ghost hunter =0)
