Does the belt come off? I'd probably change that out with something in a contrasting color and do a shoe that coordinates with the belt, but doesn't match completely. I'd add a short statement necklace, watch or bracelet, and a cute bag. If you don't want to do a necklace, statement earring could be really cute.
I really love pink, yellow, or coral with navy. I would do a colorful shoe and a belt to match and then add some chunky jewelry in a complementary color, a matching color or simple silver. You could also do nice crisp white with brown accents. Navy is a great neutral!

Is that from Sear's Land's End or the website? I really like it and may have to look into it. I think changing the belt will help a lot. I like Aldo and Coldwater Creek for cheap belts. I'd probably try something thick that contrasts with the navy to define your waist. I like something like this for the necklace:
I like gold better with navy than silver because I think that combo pops a little better. I'd probably go with a necklace for work instead of earrings, but would do a chunky earring for weekends instead of the necklace.
I bought this super cute fushia pink skinny croc belt at Target. I wear it with my Navy dress it looks fab. I get tons of compliments when I wear it.
Yes to gold accessories too!! Charming Charlies has had some great bracelets and watches in blue/gold and even with accents of turquoise or lime green thrown in with the navy/gold. It looks fantastic.
Navy is a neutral so you pretty much can't go wrong with most brights. I loveeee navy & bright green together.
That dress looks amazing on you. Your tatas look fab and your waist is teeny tiny. It's a great staple b/c you can wear it for work (even throw a blazer over it) or dress it up for a party/night out. Great find!!
renata - ever since you wrote that blog post whenever you mention blazers I hear it in the tone of the Portlandia "put a bird on it" skit.
