I'm pg so the strongest thing I can take is Tylenol. I've also tried caffiene, massage, and a cold compress. I'm going on day three of this and am about to take a blunt object to my head.

Call your doctor and ask if he can prescribe anything stronger to take since you are going on day 3. Maybe take a shower and let the hot water run in the spot it hurts? Or just turn all of the lights and sounds off and go to sleep with your head under your pillow. I do think you should call your doctor since it has been a couple days. I'm sorry. I hope it goes away soon. Migraines are horrible.

try soaking your feet in hot water with a cold compress on your neck. It sounds odd, but it has helped me in the past. Pregnancy migraines are the worst. I hope it goes away soon.
I am a frequent migraine sufferer. Talk to your doctor. My doctor prescribed narcotics during my pregnancies to keep the migraines under control. They didn't work as well as my typical drugs but it provided enough relief that I could eat and sleep.

I'll try this as soon as I work up the energy to move
I'm planning to call my OB if it isn't better tomorrow. I'm just worried they'll overreact since I have a history of preeclampsia.

Hey, me too. Well HELLP and pre e, twice. That just means you should DEFINITELY call the OB. Even if it's not BP related, an untreated migraine can make your BP go up just from the stress!

Yikes. Did you end up on bed rest with the pre e? I'm just curious, because I had 7 weeks of it with DS and none with DD, but was induced at 37 weeks, because I was getting the symptoms again. I'm terrified of it happening again.
Sadly, this is a pregnancy no no. It has ibuprofen in it.
Actually, Excedrine Migraine is a combination of acetaminophin, asprin, and caffeine. If you are ok with the smell, try rubbing some lotion or oil scented with eucalyptus on your temples and back of neck.

This. My doc offered to prescribe me a narcotic if I got a migraine while pregnant. Luckily, I never needed it because my migraines disappeared while I was pregnant.

My first pregnancy, it was very sudden and I went to the ER with full-blown HELLP (in kidney failure, liver failure, very low platelettes, and BP 225/125). This was at 29 weeks. He was delivered 2 days later. He would have been delivered earlier but I was stable enough that they gave me steroid shots for his lungs in those two days.
Second pregnancy was fine until 32 weeks when my BP started to go up. I did hospital bedrest for a week, at which point my kidneys started to go again, so she was delivered at 33 weeks.
They're 2 and 4 now, and doing great.
I think your chances of it happening again are pretty good, unfortunately...but you'll likely go even farther again! And getting farther than 37 weeks would be fantastic!
Glad to hear you and your kids are doing well FloFTW
I woke up with no headache, but swollen hands. Now that I'm moving around, it's coming back. I'm chugging water and plan on going to one of those automatic bp cuffs as soon as my Dad can get here to watch the kids.
