as noted in a scheduled training plan ... what do you do?
I had a migraine yesterday. Combine that with super-poor air quality and general tummy troubles, and I skipped my swim workout last night. However, I'm scheduled for 24,000 yards this week and missing 4,000 yesterday means that I have 3 choices:
Make the remaining 4 pool workouts 5,000 yards instead of 4,000.
Skip it altogether and just do 20k this week.
Double up tomorrow and do a "two-a-day" with a 4k workout in the am and then a 4k workout in the pm.
I suppose I could also move the workout to Sunday, but that means I'd end up doing 12 days in a row without rest, and that's not a valid option.
Depends. If I had time to make it up Later without messing anything up I would. Otherwise life happens and I don't know a single person who has done 100% of their plan and would be fine just saying "oh well" and move on.
