At one point I was considering a position on a Disney cruise line as a character performer, but then I discovered large boats make me extremely seasick.

Once again, my H did this. After his tall ship sank he thought it would be a good idea to work on a cruise ship. Luckily, this one didn't sink. He was a youth security officer. Basically made sure the teenagers on board behaved themselves. He worked for Princess and did the San Francisco to Alaska route and he loved it!
Lived on one for a few months, but didn't work. Again, flipping AWESOME! It was on Holland America's Rotterdam. I now have over 400 days at sea....LOVE CRUISING!
ETA: I also get crazy seasick. One Bonine a day and I'm fine.
My younger sister did for 2 years. No idea how she lasted that long. the crew quarters are super small and the showers are a joke. She is 6 ft tall and had to wash 1/2 her body at a time.
My husband worked for RC for about 6 years, in the kids' program. He had is own cabin, saved a TON of money, went all over the world, and met a lot of really cool people who he still keeps in touch with. Some of them were dancers/entertainers. If you have any specific questions I could ask him :-)
