I am not sure how much information I am allowed to say about this specific project but I took part of a commercial shoot today.

Even though being in a commercial sounds like it would be fun - it is not. Especially a commercial that requires you to swim. Basically, you just do a short segment...and then you wait while they review the footage. They decide it sucks and you do it again. And again. And again. And again. And again. FOR SIX HOURS.

You will probably see this during the Olympics, not sure how much you will see of me...I got whiny (aka hungry and cold) and started taking lot of breaks. I dont even like to swim for 6 minutes, nonetheless 6 hours.

I am so bummed, I thought television would be so fun!!!! But ugh, no no no. Maybe if it was running I would have thought it was sorta fun, but even then, I am sure I would have got bored, hungry, tired and frustrated. No Hollywood for me

LOL! So sorry that it wasn't fun! My husband does lighting for TV & movies and being on a set...ANY set with anyone is pretty much the least glamorous thing ever!! Hope you get a decent amount of screen time to make it worthwhile!!

When we were on vacation last year we watched a photo shoot for fitness gear - I think it was Nike. They were photographing these girls in yoga gear and it was hours and hours of yoga. They were starting when we left for a hike and still going when we came back 5 hours later.

I hear ya! I was in a Chuck E Cheese commercial when I was a kid and I thought it would be great - pizza and games and fun fun fun...but it sucked! I never went back there after that!!!

They only gave us a Cliff bar for breakfast! I was hungry after 30 minutes.

But I must say, they hooked it up for lunch - it wasn't too little, it was just too late. They had a salad bar with many toppings and dressings, beans/rice, roasted chicken, roasted vegetables, salmon with salsa, steak with horseradish sauce, garlic bread, fruit salad, chocolate cake and cheesecake.

At least that is what I ate - there may have been a few additional items that I declined for some reason ;D
