If I get remarried, it will be a casual backyard thing, and I probably won't invite the Advice From Groomz crowd, and I fully expect to be shunned by all of them for the rest of time.
Haha, it is! I've never made bars and I've only eaten them as a kid at church basement type events. When people mention bars, I think of establishments for drinking booze LOL
You've NEVER made bars? Rice krispie bars? Brownies? Lemon squares? Seven layer? They all count!
GodDAMN I'm hungry.
Brownies are bars? WTF haha! Ok, I guess I've made bars, then! Rice krispie treats, too! I'm still freaking out that these are "bars"!
I would invite the people I see regularly off-board. Then, I would hold a contest for ONE invitation for up to TWO people (no kids) for who can come up with the best pantsparty-inspired appreciation artwork! The winner would be invited to bartend at the vow renewal for the night.
I had someone come speak to a college class I took. She and her SO are not married and don't intend to get married, but they renew their commitment to the relationship every year, good for 1 year, and if someone wants out at the end of the year, fine. At the time, it had been like 30 years they had renewed a year at a time.
