I would get a tummy tuck in a heartbeat if I could afford it, i hope to someday. Being pregnant with twins and weight loss have left me with a less than desirable middle section.
I said this below, but to me, getting lipo was NBD. It was cheap(ish), fast, and I felt fine by 5:00 pm the night of surgery. I was on pain medication for just one day, able to walk my dogs that night, and went back to work the next Monday. I'm sure I'll get a tummy tuck and probably a boob refresher after I have kids. Facial work I'm more apprehensive about because the ability to screw up your face is so much greater than with your body.
had a breast augmentation...went from 34A/small B to a 34 D....let's just say i didn't think about the ramifications of running when i did that.
i am getting them fixed after we have kids, i want the pockets they are in tighter so they have a less natural look. and i have no idea what kids and nursing is going to do to them.

I will need skin removal surgery as well. I already need it on my arms and thighs. We want one more child after this one, so once all the kiddos are here, I'll probably also consider a tummy tuck and breast implants.

Unless something drastically changes about my body, I don't plan on getting surgery. I am paranoid that they'd screw it up and the outcome would be worse than the perceived flaw I was trying to fix.
I sometimes think larger boobs might be nice (I'm a 34A), but I really don't care that much. Since I don't care that much, I feel like bigger boobs are more beneficial for DH or others than for me and I'm not getting surgery for others' benefit. (I don't mean this as a criticism of women who get augmentations since they obviously have a different view than I do.)
I can understand people getting it in some situations, though.
The thought of plastic surgery totally freaks me out, but I have thought about it. I lost over 80 pounds within a year and kept it off for years now . . . so I have saggy boobs and extra skin that wont go away. I always look at people on weight loss shows and say they absolutely need skin removal surgery . . . I just can't see to wrap my brain around it for myself.
I guess I am somewhat okay and deal with it since I wear great bras that hold the girls up and Spanx when I need it.
I guess another issue I have is that once I start, I will keep going. My boobs, tummy, inner thighs, etc all technically should get done. What else would I have a problem with after that? The little bit of droopy skin on my face, the barely noticeable waddle. Would I obsess about those? I know for sure I would never get my arms don b/c of the huge scar . . . plus my arms aren't that bad. But I totally see why other people HAVE to get it done. Some of those "bat wings" are insane. If I had that, I wouldn't hesitate.
I was a SS, because while I'd like to think I wouldn't have it for vanity reasons I would proably consider it for something like reconstructive surgery after a masactomey etc.

I have technically had it to repair where I had a melanoma removed on my forehead. But my insurance paid for it since it was related to cancer surgery so not sure if that counts?
