The only makeup I wear, really. I hate putting stuff on my face, but BM is light enough I don't feel like I'm caking stuff on my face. I can put on a really light layer, whereas with other foundations it always seemed like it was so much, even if I tried to go light. I also like that it is a loose powder, so I don't have to worry about replacing it as often if I'm not wearing makeup.

I use it and love it!! It's really good quality and it lasts a long time. I like that you can build the coverage up on down if you need to, and it doesn't feel heavy either.
I hate makeup, that's part of why I rarely wear it, but this I don't mind at all.

I don't usually like make up, but I love Bare Minerals! My favorites during the summer are warmth (very little needed for my fair skin), clear radiance, and the mineral veil.

I used to use it and liked it, but I have a really uneven skin tone and a light sweep/coverage didn't really do anything. It just seemed to take too long to build up the layers for the coverage I needed.

I use it and love it! I have been using it for several years. I like how it doesn't feel "caked" on. I use the Medium foundation and the Mineral Veil...I love the eye shadows too, but I haven't used them in a while.
Once you try, you will be hooked! It is really good stuff.
Maybe this is an FFFc but I NEVER even have to wash my face at night (I do in the AM shower though).
I have been wondering about this stuff as well. Years ago a friend gave some to me to try and I didn't like it because it didn't look like it did anything. I don't remember what she gave me but it was just one little powder tin.
I have some scarring from acne and a little bit of uneven tone and my skin gwts super oily. Should I go buy my own stuff and give it a try again?

try it. If there's a retail location near you they'll do the whole kit on you for free and you can see if you like the coverage.

This popped up in my app feed (lurker mostly on H&F and MM) -- I have oily skin and have had good luck with the "matte" version of the foundation rather than the original. See if you can try this on at Sephora and see how it does for you throughout the day. The original + mineral veil did ok at keeping oil at bay but I find the matte more effective. GL!

At ulta they had a trial pack of smaller containers that was a good deal! You could have them apply it and then buy that kit and it wouldn't cost as much

Maybe she gave you some Mineral Veil which is just like a finishing "top coat"- it doesn't actually cover much. I would give it another shot
