I went in 2009. (I can't remember the name of the show at that time without looking for the program...)
The opening act was cheesy so I was terrified we just wasted our money. However, H and I both really enjoyed the show! Champagne was included in the price. I will also enjoyed being in a venue that has a lot of history.
We did not get the dinner before; I've heard that is a total rip-off.
I think there are some small, more "authentic" cabaret shows in the Pigalle area, but just as a heads up, some parts can be pretty sketch at night.
We decided not to go for a show after reading reviews about it being a tourist trap. We stopped by after Sacre Couer just to see it and snap a pic but that was all. It was dusk and the area was getting somewhat seedy although we weren't overly concerned (fwiw we live in Chicago)
Thanks. I think we have decided to skip it and do a show in London instead. We only have 2 nights in Paris where we could do this and would rather see more of the city.
