I also am trying to decide if I want to buy tickets to the comicon that is coming up. I really want to go but I asked Boyfriend to get us tickets and he didn't yet... should I inform we are going? Should I buy a ticket for myself and go without him?

Yes. Buy tickets.
I will join you in nerddom as I just learned I am being dragged to a going out of business comic place this weekend.

Johnathan Frakes was going to be there but now he isn't on the schedule any more. Richard Hatch is on the schedule but I will just spend the whole time wishing he was Jamie Bamber instead.
motzie, just find some new clothes that you love. Everything else will fall in place. Target clearance has some great things right now. Also, LC for Kohl's is responsible for at least 40% of my wardrobe.

I'm old, I can't shop at Target anymore. I bought a few tops there the other day and they all need to go back. Old Navy has been the same lately. I feel like I'm in that weird place age-wise and I can't find my grove.

Ugh, cuddlyevil shoes are always my issue. I go in cycles where I buy a ton of new shoes and I think I'm all set. And then I wear them down and need all new ones two years later. I'm at that point now.
Motzie, I feel you. I bought a couple new pairs in the last few months and both have disappointed me. I need to squirrel away money and time to go to dsw by myself and try everything on.

I used to live in my Old Navy v-neck t's with a tank top underneath. I'm actually wearing one today. But that was pretty much my entire wardrobe for years and I'm bored with it.
I'd like to have a couple thousand dollars so that I can just go and buy stuff that fits well and looks good (clothes and shoes), without worrying about the price tag. I pretty much live in items purchased on clearance or at the goodwill. I has the poors.
