I definitely have too many workout tanks - I feel like I'm constantly on the lookout for something better than what I have. Most of my gear came from TJ Maxx. I probably should have shelled out the $$$ up front from stuff from Athleta or LLL instead of constantly buying and rebuying cheaper things.

I have an embarrassingly small collection of workout clothes. I work out almost exclusively at home, so I'm fine throwing on a sports bra (which I also wear as my every day bras so I'd have them anyway) and whatever ratty shorts I grab first.

Yes, but I have gone through and gave away all of my cheap target workout clothes, once I had a sufficient collection of the good stuff. I cannot bring myself to get rid of the race shirts - even though I don't wear t-shirts. They are all folded and piled high in the top shelf of the closet.
I do find myself gravitating to a few outfits as my favorites, but as the seasons change they change too and it depends on the workout - so all of it is necessary. And my casual clothes are all lulu, so I need all of it. Sometimes I feel I don't have enough, like when packing for vacation, and then there are the new pieces that come out that just speak to me.
I do have a few pieces that did not work out for me - I totally need to get to selling them on ebay, I am amazed at the secondary market for lulu.

my standard warm weather outfit is a running skirt and a basic tank in the fall/winter, capris and a hoodie. i don't wear "real" clothes unless i have to so, add me to the "i have an excessive amount of workout gear" list too!!!

I like the idea of a clothing exchange. Maybe we can post photos of stuff we don't need/want anymore or something. Preferably things you're willing to give away for free, or just the cost of shipping, because that makes it easier.

Hmm...I am not sure they'd be considered excessive. I mean I have more non-workout clothes. And i hang on to all of mine and rotate them. I don't spend a whole lot on them but I am planning to run more this colder season (for the first time!) and I may acquire more than usual.
