I don't do kettlebell classes, specifically, but I love working with bells! I think it's a lot of fun and I get excited when there are some swings on the board
Do you feel like they are pretty good for strength training? I don't want to cheat myself on strength, but I am just bored with going to the gym and lifting lately.
I lift heavy 4-5 days per week, so take this with a grain of salt. I actually think I get more cardio than strength training. Depending on the workout, I'm using a 35 or 44# bell, so it's not light. Also, I think it's more strength endurance than strength.
Yeah...that is kind of what I expected. I will still give it a try though, why not? I just need to get out of my funk and maybe a fun class or two will help.
I love them! I feel like I get a good strength work out, but I am admittedly pretty weak I tend to not do heavy weights while marathon training, so kettle bells, TRX, body pump are all more my speed.
