Here's mine, it gets rave reviews:
Put pork shoulder in crock pot (my most recent one was almost 10 pounds), stab it a couple times with a knife so the liquid will soak in well. Cover with onion soup mix, garlic powder and black pepper, rubbing in a bit. Pour can of Guinness (large can) over shoulder. Rough chop one onion and toss it in. I cooked it on low for 10 hours and it felt apart beautifully. I pulled it using my hands, put back in juice in crock and served it that way.

Also, just a tip that if you use any of the crockpot recipes: reserve some sauce (1/3-1/4 of total amt you're using), cook in crockpot until done, then transfer to a baking sheet (covered in foil- easier), top w/ remaining sauce, & throw it in the oven on 400 for 35-45 mins. Totally worth the extra trouble in my experience! It kind of 'crisps' up the edges, & helps enrich the flavor.
