Basically, it's this little Elf toy that supposedly comes from the North Pole and every night it reports back to Santa on how the kids are behaving. Then it's in a new location in the morning, to show that it really did move.
I haven't emailed my ILs back about coming over on Friday in hopes that it won't happen. The time after Lincoln goes to bed is MY time, I don't want to entertain them!
My H is only on board with them coming over because they offered to bring pizza.

Is there any way you can go out for the evening and leave your H to entertain? Or say you're not feeling well so you can hang out in the bedroom? On nights where I need a break from the in-laws, I have freelance work I have to do on the computer in the bedroom. Their his parents and he can be on duty alone once in a while.
ETA: if you don't have any girlfriends that are free, go to a movie alone or something and just be vague and say you have plans.
I passed a car yesterday that randomly had "vag" in the license plate. Not a vanity plate, that would be weird. Just random letters. Anyway, I was really tempted to take a photo of it for you ladies. Then I thought, WTF self?? You've lost it.

I'm honestly thinking about it. I really don't want to play board games with them for hours, that does not sound fun at all.
Times like these, I wish I was still in school so I could say I have homework to do.

Resurgence of first tri morning sickness. You can eat pizza, but you certainly can't get out of bed!

Haha the greasy cheese helps my stomach. H always gets all butthurt though, "I don't get why you hate my parents.."
Ughhh! Does he always hang with your parents when they visit? When my mom visits he often does work or stays home while we go out so I feel like I should be able to do that when his parents come.
I hate when they take this stuff personally. Just because you want to skip a night of games does not = hate.

Exactly! He's working when my mom comes into town, so he sees her in the evenings for dinner but that's it really.
We see his parents about once a month and every holiday (they'll probably invite us over for labor day), I don't want/need to be there every time. He doesn't get that.

I'm lucky in that H doesn't want to be there either, so at least he understands hah!

H is like that occasionally, hence why his parents basically invited themselves over on Friday. He gets annoyed of them too.
My manager brought in Krispy Kremes this morning. I missed breakfast at home this morning, so I had TWO donuts, even though there was probably barely enough in the box for each person to have one.

I think two sandwiches is a great idea. Cheeseteaks are even better, jamaicam!
Guys, now I am getting so sick. I am super sad/pissed because I can't take anything! And obviously, I can't take a day off. Matt didn't go in yesterday except to go to sick call, so he slept 7.5 hours yesterday. I want a 7.5 hour nap, lol.
Also, I'm watching a Teen Mom 3 catch up show and it's making me sick how they all fight viciously in front of these babies.

I went to TJ at lunch and got all sorts of crappy things to eat. Now im opening it all up at my desk adn eating it. I just went through like 1/2 bucket of dark chocolate PB cups, and 1/2 bag of cinnamon & sugar pita chips.

UGHHHHHHHHH MUST STOP
crap from trader joes isn't like REGULAR crap! Don't we all know this? having TJs on the label means its a sort of crunchy, hippy food therefore is actually good for us.
I just ate two Skinny Cow snicker doodle ice creams. It was that or wine and I reluctantly decided that wine at 2pm was a bad precedent to set for myself. Now I feel guilty.
Max is being a terror today. He's overtired, won't nap, and is loving all the behaviours he knows get him in trouble. My H didn't help...when I called to complain, he said this will be what age two is like.
MOOKs, please tell me he is wrong. I get some happy break between 17 months and three, right? RIGHT?
