Any recs for SE Asia for travelling with a baby (7 mo)? We're going to Singapore in Nov/Dec for work and would like to spend some extra time being tourists in the region. We've been to Thailand and Myanmar without a baby. We're open to do anything that's not too difficult with a baby. DH would appreciate some scuba diving.
We saw tons of families in Luang Prabang, Laos and in Siem Reap. My concern would only be that it is so hot, but obviously people have babies there all the time and the heat isn't an issue. I just personally was super uncomfortable in the heat. What about a beach in Thailand?
I'd try some Islands in southern Thailand - fly into Phuket or Krabi? Koh Lanta is beautiful! I loved Laos too, but could be really warm and not easy for swimming (I went tubing in Vang Vieng, but it's a very backpackery scene).
CloudBee, Micronesia is a very interesting suggestion. I don't think it'll work out for this trip, but I'll keep it in mind for the future.
frlcb, I've always wanted to go to Laos and Cambodia, so I'll look into these.
marina007, we've been to Phuket and Krabi. We know we can go back and will have a great time, although we want to consider somewhere new. If we go again, we'd like to check out Koh Lanta.
@publius, I'm not worried about malaria (but maybe I should be). I'll certainly discuss it with our pediatrician.
