Cam is eating a lot less lately too. I was worried at first, but then realized that he will WILL ask if he's hungry (he's also not one to ask usually). Now its usually like... eat like a bird for 3-5 days, and then 1-2 days of eating almost normal, big meals. Then back to barely eating. I just totally go by his cues now.... when he acts done, he's done.
Although, watch out... Cam learned that when he barely ate lunch/meals, and he'd get hungry a little while later, he would ask for a snack. So of course right at first when he started doing this, I would definitely give him a snack because I knew he had to be hungry! But then he ONLY wanted snacks alllll the time. So we had to stop with the snacks pretty much altogether, and that also helped he eat more at mealtimes.

Andrew's appetite comes and goes all the time. He's a chunky kid, so it's not like he's going to starve to death. His food intake (or lack thereof) has never affected his growth or sleep, so I'm not worried about it.
Audrey has been going through the same thing. Hoping its just a phase, but its hard not to stress because she's under 25th percentile for weight and doesnt eat a whole lot when she eats well. She literally had about 5 bites of chicken and a couple goldfish for lunch. im going to make cheesey pasta for dinner since its one of the few high calorie things I know she will eat.
Ada's comes and goes. A few weeks ago she was eating more than I was and now, I have not offered lunch in a few days because all she would do is throw it on the floor because she's not hungry. She's not nearly as chunky as she used to be so sometimes I worry but I guess she will eat when she is hungry.
Once they hit this toddler age their need for food usually decreases. Babies double and triple their birth weight within the first yearish and then reallllly slow down on growth. I wouldn't worry. Toddlers need about 1000-1400 calories per day, so just try to provide high nutrition items when you can. It's also best to look at what a toddler eats over the course of a week as far as a complete diet goes. We don't do snacks after lunch in order to make sure they have an appetite for dinner.

We're in the exact same boat, though substitute corn on the cob for chicken. I'm making the casserole tomorrow BC that's usually a favorite and it seems like she hasn't eaten much in several days.
