I am running this race for fun with no real time goal in mind. I hear there are characters etc along the route for photos. Did you just use an ipod or phone? Carry a camera? How close together are these stops? Does it take forever for this or worth the stop?
I have a small belt pouch thing but all of my other races have been local so have not done a lot of photos mid race. I don't want to be THAT person during the race trying to photograph everything while running...but i want some cool shots too.

I brought my iPod that has a camera. I only stopped for Cinderella & after waiting in line for 5+ minutes they swapped her out with effing sleeping beauty. I was so pissed I wasted the time waiting and didn't even get my Cinderella picture

I am pissed for you. That sucks.

I just let the official photogs take pics. I hate running with stuff. Some of them were good.
Same here
aha! so there is a Disney photog at the character stops? that is excellent to know. are these photos all part of the Disney photo pass? my ipod doesn't take great pics so i am happy to hear this.
Not part of photo pass yet, as far as I know. It all goes through Marathon Foto (well, it did last year).
Yeah... I'm not sure what the photo pass is but last year everything I saw was through marathonfoto. I didn't get any usable pictures, especially not for their crazy prices, so I was glad I had a few of my own pictures.
