I went to my sports dr/ podiatrist today. Not a fracture. Yay. I have tendinitis. Ouch.
She taped me up and said as ling as I tape and ice I can continue to run and do yoga. I attempted to run and ouch. It hurt. I stopped instead of pushing through. I think it's super sore/tight from yoga lat night. I'm giving it full rest and. Ice and will try again in the mormorning
I probably run a lot less than you, but I had the same problem across the top of my foot. Be vigilant with the ice, at least three times a day. Also, add ibuprofen. I took the max dose of Advil every day for three weeks and it helped tremendously. Also, I ran through the pain and it seemed to improve after 10 minutes or so every time. It doesn't bother me at all any more.

I was dx'd with tendonitis in my foot last fall. My podiatrist actually had me use heat a few times a day. I was skeptical at first, but it really did help. Hope you're feeling some relief soon. It took a few weeks before I could function without pain.
