Aside from freaking the F out, what else should I be doing the week leading up to my Half? I have a 12 miler this weekend then it's a few short runs with a few rest days before the Half next Saturday. I have my sports drink, energy gel and outfit set. I know not to eat any new food. What should I be eating or doing? Any and all tips for a first timer are welcome and much appreciated!
Maybe look over the map and/or go drive the route if you're not familiar with it and it's nearby. I'm always kind of afraid I'm going to miss a poorly-marked turn or something, especially if it's a smaller race. Otherwise, just relax!

I know everyone says this but trust your training! You have prepared and you will do a great job! I will ditto getting lots of sleep and hydrating. For me, it never gets old crossing the finish line and the sense of accomplishment. Especially in your first half!

**stalks post** I'm 15 days out from my first half! So obviously I don't have any advice, but GOOD LUCK!! You'll do great. I can't wait to hear all about it!
