I'm doing an olympic tri tomorrow, last race of my summer swim/tri season.
trigal, have you done it before? I have done Big George, but not the Oly, and they don't overlap at all. Any comments or advice on the bike loop? I have looked at it on mapmyrun but haven't seen it in person.
I'm racing my last triathlon of the season tomorrow, too. It's an inaugural race here in NM - 50.5 miles (our area code is 505). 1 mile swim, 40 mile bike, 9.5 mile run. Should be fun!

I like it!
But whoa, not a race for swimmers with those proportions!

Yes - it is not looking like it will be my best race of the year! The course is a ball buster, too. So hilly, bad roads, crazy hot, totally exposed.

I'm doing a 5K tomorrow. I hope just to get through it without dying from pain from shin splints or the heat. The heat index tomorrow is supposed to be 104.

Oh, and good luck racers!
Be careful out there! The heat index sounds miserable!
