At risk of sounding really technically challenged....I have a question. I have an iPhone and it's my first Apple product. I'm buying a used (and stripped) iPod touch from my friend for cheap, to use for music at our wedding BBQ. (I didn't want my phone tied up with music, as I want it available if people are lost/need directions, etc.) I have wireless at home...how does the music get off my phone onto my ipod? Can I use my "cloud" with it, or will I need to hook my iPod to my phone somehow...I'm embarrassed that I don't know this. I bet if I asked my 7 y/o neighbor, she could tell me!
Once you get the iPod you'll need to hook it up to your computer and sync it like you do your phone. Once it is associated with your apple ID and iTunes, you should be able to load your music from iTunes on to it from your computer with no problem.
What if the music is only on my phone? Do I still have to download the songs from my phone onto my computer, and then from my computer onto the ipod?
