Jack is obsessed with books. Obsessed. We are reading the same things over and over though.
He loves the baby lit counting books (we have Romeo & Juliet and Pride & Prejudice), we have the whole series of these: www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/1770493190 (oh my gosh, you know you're Canadian when...) and the only longer storybook he really has the attention span for is The Cat in the Hat. (We have others, they just aren't totally age appropriate yet so it is hit or miss if he will sit for them).
Anyway, we need suggestions of books your LOs love because I literally just read the same book with him 6 times.
I love you through and through hippopsites the monster at the end of this book Anything and everything touch and feel counting books or books that have one or two words per page
I don't know how much help I'll be. Andrew's been blessed with a TON of books as gifts. He's probably got 50+ between our living room and his bedroom, but I always end up having to read the same two over and over and over. "Good Night, I Love You" and "Moo, Baa, La La La" are his current obsessions. IF he'll let me read anything else, it's usually a Boynton book.

No, that's great! I'll definitely look for some Boynton books today.

There are only 2 books I am allowed to read to him at bedtime, Goodnight iPad and I'm a a little Teapot.
In our playroom we read a TON of books. Hand hand finger thumb Yummy Yucky Quiet Loud Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed Any of the How Do Dinosaurs books (How do Dinosaurs Count to Ten, etc)
Cam's new favorite is Welcome Little One. I got it before he was born. Its SO cute (made me cry while I was huge, pregnant, and hormonal). But now he loves it... we have to read it every night.
Moo Baa Lalala is his favorite, with It's Time for Bed a close second. He absolutely adores the books with pictures of animals and objects, too. He sits and flips through them while babbling to himself.

Oh my goodness! I just remembered that I have basically ALL the Iza Trapini books from when I worked in daycare! And they came with the cassette tapes. Woo! I totally forgot about them. I've also got Jillian Jiggs and a ton of Robert Munsch. Oh, it's gonna feel like Christmas morning this afternoon when I bust those out.
We have soooo many books, but she seems to prefer the same few all the time. All the ones that just have pictures of things/colors/ shapes/animals. If I try a book that has a couple lines of words on a page she gets annoyed and flings it at me and gets "animals" again (each page has an animal, that's it)
Although one she seems to like is doctor suess the foot book!
A loves all books. His favorites: The boxes of 12 mini board books, we have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins Poke A Dot farm Froggy Plays T-Ball Pat the Bunny Ten Grouchy Groundhogs
Poke a dot farm. Thanks muppet! Jesse bear gets dressed Brown bear brown bear And a random Spider-Man 2 hand me down book that used to make noise. I think he just likes it because Mary Jane has red hair
