There are some in door children's museums, a play space at our local mall and a few in door gyms. Everything except the mall costs money, though. I wish there were more free options.

A new play place just opened here and we went Friday. There are others in the county but this is the first in our city like this. There is a children's museum in the city, indoor malls near by, and the aquarium is about 25 miles away. Note, we have never been with the girls to the aquarium or museum though H went to the museum w/ grandparents.
Oh we also have the New England Aquarium and the Science Museum. Ari is actually taking a class at the NEAq this fall with his aunt who is the lead educator there. Those things are all crazy packed on weekends but his class is during the week. Hopefully he can have some quiet time there to explore.
Indoor community pool, play area in chick fil a, aquarium, play area in the mall, library toddler reading, there is a children's museum we haven't been to
Indoor playplace, local childrens museum, nature center, gymnastics with open gym times, indoor pool, wine and paint bar with toddler sensory play, bowling, rollerskating, arcade
The Mall has a play area, and he likes to people watch so he's usually good just to walk around in his stroller for awhile too. A McDonald's with a play area. The Library children's room is open Sat. mornings. The local children's second hand store has a big room of toys that he has fun wandering around in for awhile.

What kind of play place here? Was it fun?
It's called PlayLand Cafe and its in Irvine off Jeffrey & the 5. It isn't huge but H and D loved it. At the lo's age you have to be right with them the entire time climbing and sliding so it isn't relaxing but it wears them out. It is $7 for under 2 w/ a patent but H was $12 which seemed a little too much, but that's Irvine.
We have a ton of options here, but I still feel like we run out of options. The children's museum is stupidly expensive for what it is. The play places at the mall are overrun by kids who are too big and rough. The same goes for the bounce houses. We do a pretty solid rotation between My Gym and the aquarium each week.

We frequent the Children's Museum. We also have an aquarium and an indoor play space for small children. We have a Gymboree around here somewhere. We visit the children's bookstore and there is a new place called Stay and Play where I believe you can drop off your child while you run errands or do yoga next door. I think you pay by the hour. We wouldn't use that though.

Our gym has an indoor pool with family swim hours. The mall has a so-so indoor play area, but combine that with walking around in the a/c and a cookie am you've got a decent afternoon outing. We also have a children's science museum that I haven't been to yet but I hear is good. My town just opened an indoor activity center that's arts based but supposedly has some more active options too. I think it is geared toward 3 and up, though. There's always chick fil a
It's been a long summer, esp since G didn't start walking until mid July. Not much to do with a non walking toddler in the heat! I will be thankful for cooler weather.

That indoor playground from the Charlotte GTG, most malls have soft play stuff indoors, monkey joes, chuckie cheese, there's also an indoor water park(I haven't been), children's museums, libraries have story time and/or play areas with puzzles and stuff, then of course there places like Gymboree where you actually pay for classes, also even some book stores have a play area.

I totally want to go. I'm strapped to my seat right now reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see a million times in a row, but when he tires I'll check my schedule.
We don't have much. There are bounce houses, but I don't know if they're toddler friendly. They're also putting a big trampoline place in, but that's not toddler friendly either I don't think
I'm not entirely sure of weekends, but I know most places I've signed Emerson up for classes have a Saturday a.m. group. We're going to do an indoor gym class and possibly a music class this fall. I'll sign her up for swim lessons soon and we go to a story time at a local library. I know some places that do swim lessons will have open family swims on the weekend sometimes. We also have a children's museum close by.
We don't have much. There is a Playland, which is awesome, but 40 minutes away and May screams in the car. Mall play area is still 20 minutes away. We have swimming on Wednesdays and a library down the street.
We have a lot of indoor playgrounds because of our rainy winters but not all are open on weekends
Swimming at the rec center. DH and I try to take him a few tines a month
We have memberships to the children's museum and zoo. We try to go at 930 right when they open
Kid bands at coffee shops
Portland has a ton for kids and SAHMs. I know they try to add weekend and evening stuff but I've heard the crowds aren't consistent enough
Yup, all of this. We're talking about enrolling Zoe in a toddler gymnastics class when she's 18 months (the youngest age they allow), because she likes that kind of stuff. That would be weekdays, though. Our science museum has a kids area, too.

What new place? Was it fun? We should do a play date there or the one by me

ETA: nevermind- saw your response to Dragon. I'm starting to watch my friends baby on Thurs afternoons- boo!
On the island we have story time at the library, an indoor pool with a huge shallow section, indoor tumble time at the gymnastics place, a children's museum, and lots of classes. Seattle has a ton more too. But since G is in daycare so far we've only been to the pool and children's museum.

We have an awesome children's museum that we have a membership to but that's it. I guess there are some decent mall play areas, but they're far away. The children's museum is an hr away too but at least its more to do than driving an hr to play for an hr. We have gymboree an hr away but we can't reliably drive that far to make it worth the gigantic expensive.
