Matilda was finishing her lunch and I was loading the dishwasher and I looked at her and she had fallen asleep with her mouth full of bread. This is very strange behavior as it was 30-45 minutes before i would normally try to wrangle her for a nap kicking and screaming.
I put her down and now she's sleeping peacefully and I should be napping too but I can't because I'm worried there is something wrong with her, weird reaction to the vaccines or something etc. so I keep checking her to see if shes breathing and am definitely going to ensure a short nap by doing that.
whyyyyyy do I have to worry about everything? Tell me I'm being silly?
She just isn't a fall asleep in her chair kind of kid. Ugh
A isn't a "fall asleep anywhere but in bed after fighting" kind of child either. So I understand your concern. However he always sleeps really well after shots so that might be it. At least it was close to her nap time.

Maybe she is coming down with a cold? Or maybe she is gearing up for a growth spurt? Don't they usually get sleepy before/during a growth spurt because they are using so much more energy? I honestly wouldn't worry at all.
My kid isn't like that either, so I understand. But lately ( as in, the last 2 days) he's been tired WAY earlier than his regular nap time. I'm thinking is some kind of growth spurt/sleeping stage?! He almost fell asleep on the couch yesterday... not like him at all!
Thanks guys! Maybe it is a growth spurt or a mild cold or something. I fell asleep myself then woke up and she was goner, hubby had her downstairs and now she's asleep on the floor of the playroom like the other day when she was sick.
Hmm we will see this afternoon how much more she sleeps, still in realm of normal now though she normally doesn't nap this long.
