So i recently injured my left foot. I went to my sports podiatrist, was diagnosed with tendinitis
I took a few days off from running, then did some cross training (eliptical, bike, etc) and its def better, the past few days ive started running again with my foot taped, (Ok per dr) Its actually been great, it stretches it out, i dont run too far, etc
the problem is, i am unable to "push" myself, im training for a half, and my pace is def slower and more steady now, I am unable to push myself like i was prior to injury, which i understand, bc I am injured
BUT my question is, why am i so exhausted? I havent been running as long or as hard, but yet am really finding I am pushing myself. Is it bc the injury and added stress? Im confused
