DH was ironing and noticed that there is a blood stain on his fancy $100 pants! It's just a little streak, I guess from the dog's weird nose spot. How do I get it out most efficiently. Especially since it's been washed and dried
Baking soda plus water to make a paste. Let sit until dry. Less harsh than peroxide. This was all I did when the dog got blood allover our couch. Follow with a cold water wash.
Depending on the color and fabric content peroxide might lift the color out a little bit.
I would use baking soda or OxyClean and make a paste. Lightly scrape it back and forth with your fingernail to get the paste in the weave and fibers really well. Then let it sit overnight. Wash in cold water then repeat if needed.
I also use this stuff called Grandma's Secret Stain remover for blood. It works so well and is non-toxic. buy it at Michael's of all places.

Hope it comes out!
I'll try the paste AND we have that grandma's stuff too. Their just cotton khakis, but for some crazy reason they cost an arm and 2 legs, so it'd be nice if it came out.
If it hasn't been dried yet, they sell these little bottles called stain devils (I think, yellow bottle) that work amazing. I had a new pair of jeans that stained the sleeves of a new white cardigan and I soaked it overnight in the stain devil meant for ink and it came out completely. They have one for blood/rust.
For dried and set stains I use the shout gel for set in stains. It almost always works!!
