I know I ovulated on the 16th. I also know there was tequila involved and (therefore) some risky behavior. I'm now 17 dpo with no signs of an upcoming period. I've peed on a million things, and all of them have been negative. Both other times I've had a clear positive days before my period was due.

What say you, Probies?

ETA: I got a very very faint positive earlier, but I just started bleeding. Not spotting. Bleeding. So, I'm guessing it was a chemical.

I'm not upset. But I am going to be stricter on my no condomless penises below the neck rule.

I peed on a FRER yesterday. I took it apart (because I'm crazy) and there was a tiny spot of pink on the very edge where the test line should be, but nothing crossing the strip.

I would be very shocked if my O date was wrong- tons of EWCM, a tiny bit of ovulation spotting, actually being horny, etc.

If the FRER said no, I would trust that. But I would probably keep peeing because I am neurotic like that.

Could it be possible that your body geared up to O but didn't? That's what happened to me last cycle. I had a +OPK, O pain, EWCM, increased sex drive, ect but didn't actually O until a week later.

This just happened to me. I had absolutely zero signs of getting my period, peed on what seemed like a million sticks, and started freaking out; I NEVER have a 30+ day cycle. However, I wiped today and saw a little tinge of blood, so I'm thinking my period is finally coming.

I had a few late periods years ago that I swear were due to me freaking out about a late period. So...could be that?

But once you ovulate, you get your period 12-14 days later, no matter how much you stress out. A friend of mine's progesterone was too high once, and that did keep her period from coming!

I bet it is just a fluke, I have had longer cycles before. If you can, I would just wait a week, then test again if your period hasn't come. (I know that is super easy for me to say. . . )

And I'm pretty sure thats why mine was late last month too, because I was taking the progesterone supplements. So it very well could be that too!

Update: my period finally showed.
