Before I go and figure out what I'm making for my elf. Do you baker-type folks think there are some things we should all stay away from due to shipping? Like, are there things that just absolutely need to stay refrigerated and wouldn't do well in even a short trip? I'd hate for my elf to say "it looked like the melted goo in my box may have tasted good at one point" Or for them to get poisoned because I shipped something that should have stayed refrigerated.

I'd avoid fudge. While it doesn't need to be refrigerated, I think it'd show up looking like a box of poo.

On the other hand, fudge is the least likely to go stale, so if yours has to go international, it might be the best option.
