Mine is obsessed with the cat food. He loves it. He eats it every chance he gets. We try to keep it out of reach but the cats need it too, so there's always a window of opportunity at some point in the day.
Last night at dinner, he decided he was "done" so we let him down, and little monkey he made a beeline for the laundry to eat a crunchy cat food chaser.
Sydney is obsessed with dog treats. She used to enjoy tasting the dog's food, but now it's all about the treats. They are so stinky, so I can't imagine why she would want to put them in her mouth! I always have her give him treats, in hopes of him starting to like her again. He tolerates her, but I can tell that he wishes she wasn't around! Haha!

Well in our house pet food is hay so both went for the litter box instead as little ones (ew). In their defense her poop does look like Cocoa Puffs lol. When we visit friends Sam does get really excited about dog food
When we are at my mom's house Leia loves the dog food. She gives one to Lilly Belle ( Chihuahua) one to Wickit ( German shep/ jack russel mix) and one for her to lick. She does this as long as they will let her. Always taking turns in the same order.

Dog kibble used to be Zoe's favorite food. Thankfully she's outgrown eating it, unfortunately, she now throws the kibble in the dog water bowl, when Patsy leaves them down.
Yes Brady loves the dog food sometimes he sits and feeds the dog but sneaks in some for him. I was putting it up when we were in the kitchen but knock on wood I don't think he played with it all weekend
Kalvin was until like 2. Katelyn has been since she could crawl, I hope she realizes it is gross soon.
They both pulled the 47 lb dog from his dish by his collar to eat the food without even a grumble. With Kalvin, we only had Joey 4 months when he did it.
We keep the dog dishes in our bedroom so he doesn't usually have access, but if we bring him into our room for a few minutes while we're changing or something he makes a bee line. He thinks it's great fun to throw dog food in the water dish and then he usually sneaks a piece for himself too.
Lillian eats anything she can get her hands on still. Our dog is not a grazer and scarfs her food down so we don't have dog food out - ever. When we are at my parents they have to put the food up. She had her first taste of dog food about 2 weeks ago at my parents house. Gross!!
Maggie doesn't seem to eat the cat food in the bowl yet, but she does play in it. Cat water, however, is both a delightful play area AND delicious treat. Same applies for birdbaths.
So far Cam hasn't tried to eat it, but he loves playing in the food holder thing we have. He opens it up and throws toys in there. When I go to scoop the dog some food for dinner, I find random toys like a drum stick, an old cell phone, a few Little People, etc. Its kind of hilarious..
