My bathroom is going to be made up of mostly darker colors. The shower surround will be a light tan tile but the floor will be a darker grey/blue/slate/tan tile with an oil rubbed bronze double curtain rod. The vanity will be and medicine cabinet is a medium on the darker side of oak stain, the faucet will be Tuscan bronze (a dark color, akin to oil rubbed bronze) and the lights above the medicine cabinet will be a oil rubbed bronze color as well. The curtain rod for the window will be the same oil rubbed bronze.
I really want to paint the bathroom tart apple from behr, it's pretty much a bright/lime green.
Would that be stupid?
What color baseboards should we put in? I really want stark white baseboards and windowsills.
Originally I was going to go with tan walls and green accents but the tub surround will be a lot of tan and I want fun!
The bathroom isn't all that big either. I would leave the ceiling white. And if I painted it a bright color, I would go with neutral towels/shower curtain/accents. If I paint the bathroom a boring color, I'd go with bright accents. I sort of feel like bright accents = not very mature but a bright wall color with neutral accents = a little more mature in this case. (I'm not knocking fun accent colors, I do love them generally)
