He cried, then i cried all the way to work. I am really sad.
Also, they have scheduled diaper changes? I am hoping if he poops they will change him before the next scheduled change. But they do have a back to school night. How cute.

Big HUGS!! It is hard, but he will have so much fun watching all the kids and playing too. Our place has sceduled diaper changes too, but a poop gets changed right away.
I'm so sorry. It's sooooo hard when they get upset. But it's very likely that at the end of the day, they'll tell you he cheered up quickly and had a fun day. And if not today, then soon. He has your genes so he's probably pretty social, right? He'll make little buddies quickly and before you know it he'll be so excited to see them every morning! It's hard but it will get easier. Hugs to you.

Ah mama! I feel for ya. Lou will be ok! I'm sure he's having a blast playing with all his new buddies right now. The first couple weeks are the hardest but it gets better! Sending you lots of hugs!
Our dc does have a schedule for diaper changes but if one of the kids poops she will change them right away.
Big hugs! I'm sure he's having lots of fun playing already. He'll make some best buds and then will be alllll smiles when you pick him up. I think that's my favourite part.
I'm sorry! It does get easier. And soon he will love going and playing! When A gets dropped off, she goes and sits at the little table with all the other kids, and it is so neat to see them acting like such big kids! And then the smiles when you pick them up are so wonderful!

awwwwwwww. it will be rough for a while but he will LOVE a few weeks from now, I promise!
I was so confused by DD's daily daycare sheets when she first went into the toddler room beucase it seemed like she pooped at 8am and 12:30pm every single day on the dot... then I realized they were scheduled changings unless they smell a dirty diaper.
Aww hugs! It will get better. And our daycare changes every 2 hours on a schedule but poops are an immediate change. Call and check in to see how he is doing I did the first week.

Oh, J, it's okay to be sad, the first day is hard! But once the two of you adjust, it'll be so good. For both if you! Sending lots of hugs and love today, sweet little Louie is going to end up being everyone's sweetheart at his center, I know it.

I was a mess on Jack's first day. I sobbed so hard in the car that my chest hurt. He cried at drop off for the first 4 or 5 weeks but he was also part time (only 2 days a week, which makes it a little harder). However, every day he got better and they told me he never cried more than a few minutes. It got to the point where I would stand in the hall and wait until he was ok and 3 weeks in he would have stopped before I could finish putting my shoes on. Hang in there, you will both adjust. DH and I picked him up on Friday and he was running away from us! He wanted to stay and play.

Yeah, Louie is only two days a week right now as well.
Yep, scheduled changes except for poop. It is so much easier to change all the kids at the same time as I do it with the two K's. Then I'm not worrying someone missed a change. Even if Kalvin didn't need it, he got changed. I used to be upset and the wasted diapers since he was dry most of the day until Katelyn came along and I realized it is easy to forget. I actually schedule them at home too, poop is an auto change.
Oh and I call and check on both of them at least twice a week....they are there 3 days a week. I don't care if I'm that mom. Maybe because I just dial the extension and not an outside number.
