Tyler saw the pedi today. He has coxsackie (hand, foot, mouth). I am in a better pace because child care is taken care of for the week. FIL is helping out again tomorrow and the. I had already taken off Thursday and Friday for Rosh Hashanah. Hopefully Tyler will be good to go back to school by Monday!
Poor little guy has a mouth full of sores and doesn't want to eat or drink without crying. I am heading out to eat a variety of Popsicles. Any other soothing food suggestions?

A just had this too, it's so miserable!! All she would eat was cold yogurt, some ice cream, and popsicles every now and then. We alternated tylenol and motrin every three hours. Most of her sores were outside her mouth, but I read when I was desperately looking up remedies that you could swap the inside of his mouth with Mylanta or Maalox and that can helps too. Poor sweet, Tyler, and poor you.
We had 3 days of fever, 4 or 5 days with sores, but 2 days into the sores, she got a LOT better and her appetite picked up again and she ate some regular food. Sending healthy vibes your way; you need a break!
This is the time of year. It is most common in late summer early fall here.
Hows Ty today?
He seems to be feeling a bit better! He still can't eat but his fever is gone so far.BUT I got sick! Fever, chills, sores in my mouth. I am miserable so I know know he feels.

Oh man so you ended up staying home today anyways?

Yup. I feel like I've been hit by a very large truck.
