I've watched videos, I've read the instructions what feels like 10,000 times. I feel very dumb. All I want to do is set up a 4/1 interval for a period of time on my 410. Please tell me there is some secret Garmins for dummies out there on the web I just haven't come across. Man I feel like a morAn.
don't feel dumb. I just figured out how to delete my old runs today. and only because my garmin forced my hand and told me it was full. every single mile. for the last 4 runs.
Don't feel dumb. Those things are like entire computers on your wrist with only 6 buttons. I'm always trying to figure something out. I will ditto texassmith and tell you to check out dcrainmaker's blog.

Go to Menu -> Training -> Workouts -> Interval Workouts. It will ask if you want Runs and Rests to be Time or Distance, then for how long. After you enter those, scroll down and it will ask for how many intervals. It will as many as 99, and 1 interval is one Run and one Rest. You can tell it if you want a warm up and/or cool down, then scroll down and Select "Do Workout". Hit the start button to begin.
It's really the ONLY thing I know how to do on my 410 . I tried to make my own course to follow, and ended up miserably lost and short on my run!
