My loan officer finally got back to me yesterday. She needed the certificate from the class she had me take on Friday. Which was suppose to be faxed over on Friday from the place I took class.
I sent her my copy and now I'm waiting for my Clear to Close. I've checked my email a hundred times in the last hour.
Inspired by you guys running I went running yesterday. I ran a little over a mile and a half. I felt pretty good about it since it has been a really long time.
Ok, so, the owner met me this morning and fit me herself. They're going to try and get the other tailor there this afternoon and if not, I'll be back at 10:30 tomorrow morning with my MOH as I hijack her appointment. If the puckering on my left side isn't fixable, they plan to place some flowers from their sample dress on to mine to disguise (because the middle is plain silk satin, it is noticeable...other parts wrinkle as I move but you don't notice it because it is covered by lace/flowers.
So. I'm feeling betterish. Extra flowers/lace wouldn't concern me. I think the problem is that the dress looks best on proportional people and my waist::hip ratio is wacky, hence the puckering.
As for the bust, she doesn't want to take it in too much. She said that I might need some cutlets to give it some grip. I have fashion tape so maybe I'll just jam it down there when it's time to dance. I'm not going to flash anybody, it just drifts down a bit as the fabric heats up and gives with wear.
Bowies, I don't want to hear about how your body isn't awesome! Hush! You're stunning, and you deserve to feel stunning on your wedding day!
Also, if it make you feel any better, in the majority of my wedding photos my dress is sort of folded at the waist-to-hip transition because I didn't know until that day that it would sink down a little over the course of the day. I still looked and felt beautiful and I didn't flash anyone either. All that to say you will be okay!

You still don't seem happy, even with the suggested changes
SOooo I think we are getting a pair of new foster dogs when we get back. They are a 10 year old bonded pair - one is a golden and one is a shitzu, they didn't want to separate them so they pulled them both. They have some skin issues and the golden has heartworms. I inquired about them yesterday and they said they have had some bites from other people, but they want us to take them.
I KNOW I always say 3 dogs is too much, but the shitzu is only 6 pounds. That doesn't count, right? Plus they cuddle and sleep together and are older, so they should be low maintenance. My heart is already melting for them.

bowies does have a rockin body, but I understand the hip to waist ratio - I have the same issue.
I have a crazy waist-to-hip ratio as well (not sure if it's the same issue), it's a pain in the ass to find things that fit properly. But I think that's true for all of us. I just want bowies to remember she's hot stuff because she sounds down on herself. And she shouldn't be, because she's freaking awesome.

I'm sorry bowies, it should not be puckering. It really isn't your body. doglove, please get those two doggies. I need pictures!
I slept so poorly last night. I was basically completely awake after 2 am. Boyfriend wants to go to a baseball game tonight and I am going to be so tired.

Stay home and sleep.
I might, but he's so excited I will feel like a big party pooper if I don't go. We also have awesome seats and between our work schedules we haven't been able to spend as much time together lately. Maybe I can get a nap in this afternoon.
Honestly, I won't feel 100% better until after final alterations are made and the dress is back in my possession and looking good. But I think I'll be able to sleep tonight. My odd body sometimes causes me grief (like, ahem, this week), but normally I'm pretty OK with having my hourglass (well, hour on the bottom and 45 minutes on the top). It's a long way from a few years ago when I refused to look at myself in a full length mirror. That was roughly 50 pounds ago (assuming I drop a couple more in the next week or so). I'm embarrassed to admit that. Might DD that later.
On the good news end of the spectrum today, I somehow lucked into an appointment with an OB/GYN on Friday at lunch. What the what?
Last night FI picked up the tab for my Hep A/flu shots. On the way out the door he said "This counts as a date." LOL! Of course I shot back "So you pay for me to get poked by someone else hmmmm? HMMMMM?"

I'm glad that they came up with a solution that you seem comfortable with, but I agree, you don't sound really happy about it...
I don't think I've ever met a person who thinks they have a "normal" waist to hip ratio. I've got a pretty (ok, extra) curvy hourglass (pear-ish) figure too, and it's always been challenging to find things that fit right. But it seems to be harder for me now that I've lost weight... I keep going for styles that used to fit when I'm shopping and get frustrated quickly because they don't anymore. Then I decide that nothing looks good on me and I go buy ice cream.
