I saw breezy's post and had my own vomit question. J was "off" all day yesterday. Ate breakfast like normal, but would hardly touch food the rest of the day. This is not normal for him. This morning he got up at normal time, and ran after the cat and was acting ok. However he refused to nurse, which is very, very out of the norm. I can barely get set up on the couch before he's yelling for milk. Today he yelled "no!" When I got the boppy and ran away. So I put him on the changer for his diaper, and he started choking and vomited. He's never done that ( he barely even spit up as a newb, so this is new to me). I got everyone cleaned up and gave him a sip of water. About five minutes later he puked again. Now he's just sitting watching tv. No fever, still talking, but you can tell he's off. Do I offer food? If so what? I have no idea. He hasn't had anything since yesterday around 4 when he had a half a pouch and yogurt. Does this sound like a bug or something else? I hate when my baby is sick!

I wish I knew, too. Your mystery sounds similar to mine. DS was coughing when it happened, too. He didn't eat awesome last night, but that's not totally unusual.
Hope it was nothing and he's all normal!
ETA: I would offer some bland foods like bananas, applesauce, toast, etc. If he didn't throw up a lot, he probably isn't too dehydrated.

It sounds like a bug to me. I would just do your best to keep him hydrated (do you have any popsicles?), make sure he is having wet diapers. So long as he still has wet diapers (at least every 6 hours) you just wait it out.
Offer water, basic starches, like bread and white rice. Encourage small sips instead of a lot at once, because that can induce more vomiting.
Abby will sometimes get an upset stomach, where she seems to feel fine but then a few hours later throws up. No other symptoms, just an upset stomach. It's rare, but it does happen.
I don't know if it's true, but I've heard recommendations to stay away from dairy.
He ate this morning and has kept it all down. He keeps asking to go night night but doesn't lay down for long. These poor babies are just so sad when they are sick.
