Interesting stuff! Seriously weak glutes, overcompensating hamstrings and calves, hips are aligned but weak... Basically my glutes have forgotten they're supposed to be working when I run.
Pretty much all I need is strength work. But I'm getting some modality work too... Guasha (sp?), Laser and iono-something or other for anti-inflammatory work. It is... Annoying.
But, I can keep running! Yay! Just no hills for a while.
Yay!!! Runners are notorious for weak glutes, so you're in good company. My alignment gets messed up & I'm highly quad dominant. We've fixed it, but I have exercises to engage my glutes & hamstrings before I run. Do your exercises! They work!!
Right?? I knew my mom ass was going to get me in trouble. Now to find the damn time to lift. I can barely get my runs in. Ugh. I hate that it is so damn hot out still!
