I'm teary over this!
The best moments: snuggling him to sleep every night, watching him light up when I walk into a room, smelling that sweet baby head, holding him on my chest for the very first time and just sobbing with happiness. Sigh. Those are the things that make me forget I had a vaganus.

Sleeping grunts are the best.
When Jo was around 4 mo. She LOVED the jumper that clamps in the doorway. She would fall asleep in it then keep bouncing in her sleep. Funniest thing ever.

- The second they laid him on my belly and my H was laughing and crying and so was I and I couldn't believe I was finally meeting him
- The first day we brought him home I sat on the couch nursing him to Thousand Years by the Piano Guys and it blew my mind how much I loved him
- My first milk coma smile when I was holding him and he looked up at me and grinned and milk rolled down his chin
- His first real smile when I was reading him a story and he just beamed and I got higher and higher pitched because it made him smile more
- Making him laugh and watching him look over at H like, "Are you catching this? This is some FUNNY SHIT!"
- Dancing with him to the song H danced with his mom to at our wedding
- Kissing his chubby thighs
- When I lay him on the bed to put him in the Sleepsuit, he just rolls around and kicks and laughs for a few minutes, just loving the hell out of rolling around and kicking and laughing
- And today, after I picked him up from daycare, he snuggled into my boobs and nursed and kept looking up at me and smiling and then nursing some more until he finally conked out (while still nursing) omgomgomg
Oh, and with the nursing, I recorded a video of just his sounds while he's nursing. It sounds like he's saying "mmmmm" with every gulp.
And honestly, my favourite part of nursing is when newborn babies peck away while looking for the boob. Sometimes I would wait just a few more seconds so that I could watch the pecking.
Andrey fell down the stairs and Sofia was like "are you ok?", so kids are always looking out for you.
I snuggled Henry my entire maternity leave. He was so sleepy and cuddly.
Now, my favorite part of the day is picking him up from daycare. I come in and he sees me and says "DA!" and crawls to me as fast as he can and pulls up on my pant legs with the huuuuugest grin on his face. Also when I pretend to eat his legs or tummy he laughs SO hard. Also when he splashes water in the tub and makes screetchy sounds. Or when he says "Muhmuh". We play hide and seek and when he finds me he laughs hysterically. Or I make a tent out of blankets which he thinks is the best ever. Most moments are amazing.

With my first I loved her hiccups and the way she wriggled while laying on me. It was exactly liike when she was in utero, just on the outside. It was a subtle reminder that, yes, it was really Daisy inside me that whole time.
With my second, I remember going in for my 6 week checkup and talking with an older lady on the elevator. She looked at Clara and her little balled fists and said " You can let go, little one. The world will hold onto you ". It was so heartbreakingly sweet to think of this little peanut of a person so stoically bracing herself against the world.
