I'm at my grandparents (an hour and a half from home) because I have a bridal shower, wedding, and bachelorette party all in one day. Yes. And I just realized I left my entire bag of makeup sitting on the counter at home!!
I have to be at the bridal shower at 9 to help set up, so my only option that will be open is Target. I know nothing about makeup and have been using the same bare minerals stuff forever. What brand should I get? I need concealer or powder or something (are they the same?) and bronzer. And facial moisturizer. And deodorant.
I use a tinted moisturizer, concealer for under-eye, and powder. Brand doesn't really matter...I would go with whatever shade you think matches you the best. I love the smoky eye sticks, just about everyone makes one now (the two-tone kind)...even if you don't make a smoky eye it's nice to have two colors of creme shadow that you can blend if you want. It's pretty versatile and easy to apply so you don't have to get an eyeshadow brush. Mascara and lipstick or lip gloss or whatever you like. My lips are pretty red so I don't wear either on a daily basis (sometimes I'll wear tinted balm).
I'd buy a Neutrogena moisturizer (they're pretty safe from reacting with skin) and then maybe their Healthy Skin Makeup or the Revlon Color Stay. L'Oreal's illuminating concealer is good. I like Revlon's Photo Ready Mascara or CG Clump Crusher. Not sure about blush, but the Physician's Formula bronzers are decent.
