So, I got one of those Amish Friendship Bread starters. I'm making the bread from the recipe. It seems a little rich for all the time. So, can I make regular bread with all these extra starters it made?
I got a sour dough starter years ago and did different breads for a while. Fun times. I felt bad when I lost interest and killed it.
Anybody use the Amish starter for a bread without all the sugar and cinnamon and extras?
It called for sugar, flour and milk. I looked online and saw a bunch of recipes. Most are really sweet. I just want to find something I can use for sandwiches.

Maybe cut down the sugar and make white bread? I've been able to do that in the past.
