Watching football, sorta, while bouncing between weather.com, wunderground.com, and Accuweather. Two out of three say it'll be 75 and breezy/sunny next Saturday. The next 5 days are going to be the longest in my life. I might go sit in the bathtub with some wine.
I'm trying to wake up and get myself in the shower. I also need to feed the cats and I have about 30 min before I should be leaving for therapy. Ugh. Why did I stay up so late last night?
tiramisu, I got into a fender bender last Weds. I went to the auto place on Friday and they thought, without opening the hood and taking apart the car, it would be 2-3k worth of work. Ugh. So waiting to hear back from my adjuster and hopefully bringing my car back to the auto repair place so they can make a real estimate and get down to business.
I feel your pain Gault. I am still waiting on the adjuster to take a look at my car. I'm annoyed.
H has found two junkyards that each have an car with an undamaged rear end, they're willing to come off them for a decent price too. So if they total my car out there is a chance we can keep it and get it fixed ourselves.

Hope things get resolved quickly, cuddly & gault.
My kitty is at the vet. We came home yesterday and he couldn't use his back legs. Vet thinks it's a blood clot that traveled to his legs. They are trying to dissolve the clot now. If it doesn't work, he could be paralyzed.
Still sort of sore. I've been taping it and that's been helping a lot. I tried to go to urgent care yesterday but they were closed. I'm not ER level so I'm going to keep evaluating today.

I set my insurance agent on the other insurance company--the adjuster should be calling me within an hour. The other insurance company was under the impression that the car isn't totaled (no shit, I drove it into work today). But no one has looked at my car and the claims rep was all "You should prepare yourself for it to be considered a total loss".
Totaled just means that it would cost more to repair than the car is worth. It actually has nothing to do with functionality. Totaling out your car is usually somewhat exciting. You get a new car! I'm not sure why it is taking so long, though.
I have sneezed so much in the past 2 days that my abs look absofuckinglutely amazing.

I know what it means muddled (the claims guy said if the cost of the repair is 70% of the car's value then it'll be considered a total loss). But the claims guy gave me one impression, the rep who talked to my agent gave another and no one but me seems to be in any hurry to get my car appraised. I'm getting frustrated.

That's why I called my insurance agent even though I'm using the other lady's insurance. He went to bat for me, but who knows how much good it will do.
