Last night I went out by myself to a Jazz show. I got a beer and found a nice comfy lounge chair and enjoyed the show. My BFF and I were texting back and forth. I told her how this really cute guy was staring at me, she told me not to flirt too much since I'm trying to stay single and how I've already got a cutie on my tail now lol...So I texted her back how he came out of nowhere and how I'm so attracted to him. She says "Well I guess the single girl will be short lived" haahaa. I tell her that I am just going to relax and go with the flow (advice from you ladies of course). So she replies..."Should've seen it coming. You have a knack for meeting guys. It's your personality you give off a really self confident vibe." I was really shocked by her words I don't see myself like that at all....it did answer for me though why my sister in law said I would be in a relationship by August and my other girlfriend told me to I would be in a relationship long before next year... Well I guess that is how they see me but I am really enjoying being single ;D
That's great! I agree with her. Guys are more attracted to confidence than to anything else. Well it takes a lot of courage to go on your own to a jazz show and that's says a lot!

I think that is a great compliment, my friends have been saying similar stuff to me. Not that I'm some guy magnet or anything, lol. I hope to be single for the rest of my life and I'm so cynical I want to make fun of people that want to get married, j/k... I just didn't have a good experience so I think it's dumb. I'm sure I'll change my views down the road.
This is a huge compliment. The other ladies are right for some reason men tend to be attracted to women who are confident. The week I filed for divorce I got hit on by a guy in my gym. It caught me off guard for sure. My one girlfriend who's been divorced for 20 years commented "sure you're not even divorced yet and you've got guys hitting on you.....I've been divorced for 20 years and have never been hit on."
