Along the lines of my complaint about needing to call since email addresses were incorrect..
I've actually made all my calls. I've gotten all my appts scheduled. I've followed through with getting our water bill automatically taken out of our accounts. For the first time in a long time I've got everything done on my end and I'm just waiting to hear back from others. There's nothing sitting in the "I need to do that.." part of my brain.
I finished the t-shirt quilt I made for a friend, and she loved it!
That's great! I actually had one of those made from all of my race tshirts. I almost have enough to make another one.
I don't have too much to brag about today. I guess the fact that I've been able to avoid any weight gain so far even though I can't do hardly any exercises b/c of my foot. It's the little things I guess.
The studio has sold out classes all week long with waitlists and that makes me pretty f-ing happy. The only ones that do not sell out are some of the 9:30 am's, but they are getting busier.

Dude, this is an accomplishment...and it'll be mine too since I don't really have much excitement going on lately. I've been exercise-free for over two months today and I'm still wearing my newer, smaller clothes! Now to see if I can keep this going for another 2-3 months if surgery gets involved...

Last night I shook hands and said "hey" to the local morning show radio DJ that I always listen to since he was out with his crew at the stadium. He's nobody that any of you would likely recognize but it was cool to me (kind of like meeting your local news anchor). I nearly asked him to pose for a picture with me but I could tell my H and his friend were anxious to get into the stadium so a quick handshake was all I got out of him.
I'm sure that's not really brag-worthy compared to everyone else who has posted here, but that's all I got for this week.

Very true! I'm totally impressed that you're still in your small clothes after 2 months, that gives me hope! It's been a month today since I last ran or did a strenuous workout.
I've brought my lunch and my morning iced coffee with me every day for two weeks. Which means I'm not spending $7.50 on a sandwich and $3.25 on coffee.

On my tuesday night group ride (cycling, my 5th ride ever!) I was asked to join the team for a metric century in November. Every group ride I've done people have commented on how strong and fast I am for a newbie. It makes me happy to hear that. :-)
I got another nice email from a manager in another office. He also cc'd my bosses on it. The past 2 weeks at work have been pretty shitty, so this email was excellent timing. I hang on to every one of these.
"Just went through the proposed responses with PSU. As always, she was way ahead of me. I’ll try to determine whether it’s worth commenting on average new business premium dollars vs. renewal. Lots of variable among the products. Thanks again to PSU for the advance work, a great help to me."
