I keep getting requests to be added or to give info to some MyCalendar birthday thing and I am just not seeing the point. I don't play the games or like any of those FB apps that you have to "agree" to release personal information for.
Does anyone do the MyCalendar birthday stuff? If so, why can't the people who use it just add my birthday on their own, like you would with a regular calendar and a pen & pencil? It's clear as day on my page, so there's no question when my birthday is, so I am just not understanding these requests when they come in.
Also, I have no idea what Bubble Safari is, but I have 34 requests for that. Someone doesn't get the hint that I don't play the silly FB games. :N:

I usually do the avoid/block option, too, but I just wanted to see what this is all about since it's not really a game. I'm just confused why I need to consent or approve information for someone else to use that app, and if I do ignore if that means my birthday won't be on their calendar.
What is so wrong with just looking at the main newsfeed page and seeing the birthday reminders that it already gives out? If you really need a popup reminder on your phone about remembering my birthday then you must not be that great of a friend. haha
